This CPD workshop is an introduction to DIT Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy, a time limited and structured psychotherapy which aims to help clients understand the connection between presenting symptoms and what is happening in their present relationships through identifying a core repetitive pattern of relating that can be traced back to childhood.

I came across this brilliant short introduction when looking for DIT as a time-limited therapeutic model. As psychodynamic therapist I wanted to expand my therapeutic ‘toolkit’ with this evidence-based time-limited treatment model for clients with interpersonal problems. This workshop helped me understand what DIT is about, who it is most suitable for, what I bring to the table, and the extra training I need to do. Thank you!
